With a culture as vibrant as Mexico’s to draw from, it’s no surprise really that the nation has plenty of inspirational designers who are a force to be reckoned with on the international stage. Regardless of how much you may or may not know about the Mexican fashion scene, here are five designers you ought to get acquainted with.

Born in Mexico City, Kris Goyri showed his passion for fashion from a very young age and in 2008 at the age of 22, he was selected as Elle Magazine’s New Mexican Talent. His designs highlight interesting silhouettes, vibrant colours and minimal lines with a style that focuses on creating exquisitely subtle pieces with a deep understanding of women’s bodies.
