If you’re planning a winter escape just a short flight from Bangkok, ...
The abundance of plant-based ice cream makers in the city nowadays is not only proof of how far vegan food has come in terms of invention, but their popularity amongst Bangkokians as well. With many independent plant-based creameries offering their products conveniently online or through direct communication channels, we urge you to pick up your phone and give them a whirl. Here are five of our favorite local vegan ice cream vendors for you to start with.
Using 100% natural ingredients and voted as best plant-based dessert in Bangkok last year, Hebe’s sugar-free recipes are much healthier than your typical ice cream, but you wouldn’t be able to tell just by looking or tasting. Named after the Greek goddess of eternal youth, you can get a sense of the brand ethos and inspiration. Serving more than 12 flavours using either rice milk, almond milk or pistachio milk, Hebe’s vegan ice creams are suitable for diabetics, those who are lactose intolerant, or folks who just love good things.
