Snuck away in a two-storey building on Sukhumvit 53, the cafe has the feel of an upstate New York Tribeca neighbourhood eatery. Since opening in March 2022 chef/owner Samantha Hebeli has created an all-day dining menu fitting well with the other activities, yoga, workshops and wellness classes that feature in the premises throughout the week. The four-dish sharing plate is as picturesque as the cafe decor. Sauteed kale with zesty natural sweetness roasted with garlic and lemon, is quite remarkable and is complemented by hummus, eggplant and halved baby tomatoes and a plateful of crispy taco chips. The burgers muscle in with the right amount of crispy texture and juicy meatiness and a creamy slaw. The chicken burger is more about texture than mimicking meat and the hot barbecue sauce works just fine. Star dish is the ricotta pasta all homemade and could hold its own in any pasta tasting competition. Cakes and pastries are fresh and deserve to be shared. The cafe menu changes with the seasons but prides itself on supporting only local suppliers focused on sustainability. The wines are natural and again locally sourced and fairly priced. The whole deal is enhanced by the thoughtful wellness programmes on offer throughout the week.
Join a class or workshop and stay on for brunch, lunch or dinner for a fun and healthy experience.
