Warin Lab Contemporary has invited up-and-coming Thai artists Nakrob Moonmanas and Mary Pakinee to take their creative spin on the cult classic young adult Thai literature, Cheewit Kong Chan Lookkrating (1977), which translates to My Life… A Little Gaur. The exhibition will explore the relationship between nature, humans, and non-human beings. Nakrob’s Artificial Nature is an interactive installation that draws from mythical animals and nature in Thai literature. Meanwhile, Mary has constructed a simulated world that calls for environmentalism and raises questions about humankind’s violations against nature.
