My grandmother was always adamant about looking put-together all at times—even going to bed—because you never know who’s coming to visit, she used to say. The know-how perhaps comes from the founder and creative director Nan Rattiya Worarat’s family business of supplying fabrics for hotel beddings. With the experience in sourcing the best materials to assist in comfort and good sleep, she saw an opportunity to open a luxury loungewear brand as her own creative outlet in 2017. 

In terms of the visual aesthetic, Vintel has designed the Gorgeous collection with the idea of making loungewear chic enough that it can be integrated into outside wear. For example, you can easily throw one of the jacket-length cover-ups on top of jeans and a T-shirt to elevate the look from basic to interesting. The glamorous printed kaftan dresses, also, would make quite a statement at a resort or yacht setting. Indeed, Vintel collaborated with Beauty Gems for the launch of the Gorgeous collection at Central Chidlom last month, to demonstrate how you could style the pieces with diamonds and other fine jewelry.
