This biopic from the novel of the same name follows Norma Jean Mortenson, who after a series of ups and downs becomes a pin-up model in the midst of World War II. She would later transition to become an actress and adopt a screen name that remains iconic until today: Marilyn Monroe. However, beneath the glitz and the glam is a woman who struggled with addiction and abuse for most of her life. 

8/8 The Greatest Beer Run Ever

In the midst of the controversial Vietnam War, a Marine Corps veteran now working as a merchant seaman is challenged to do something brave/reckless: sneak into Vietnam and give his friends in the Army a taste of home with some good ol’ fashioned American beer. Believe it or not, this is based on a true story.
