This Jay season, Central Embassy wants to make sure it caters to its many customers participating in the Buddhist tradition. At the same time, Bangkok has seen a rise in popularity for year-round plant-based diets. So whether you’re just celebrating Jay or eating vegan long-term, take advantage of these special Jay offerings at Central Embassy from September 26 ‘til October 4, 2022.
The latest addition to the Nara Thai Cuisine chain, Inka serves a variety of vegan dishes, including the Brussels Sprout Salad with Tofu, Tom Yum with Mixed Mushrooms, Rainbow Spring Rolls, Tea Leaf Salad with Eryngii, Meatly Katsu Massaman, and more. A must-try is the Truffle Fried Rice with Crispy Mushroom Shallots, infused with a rich truffle flavour.
Another Hound’s Jay Festival offerings
Another player in Central Embassy’s Vegetarian Festival is none other than Another Hound Café. Offering more than 10 veg choices for Jay, some of the highlights include street-styled appetizer Fried Tofu and Teu Ka Ko (taro cakes), Salted Vegetarian Beef Fried Rice, Vegetarian Beef Jerky made from seasoned fried shiitake served with miso soup, and Poached Sugar Bananas, served with coconut milk granita for dessert.
For Cantonese vegetarian cuisine, look no further than Hong Bao, which is offering delicious vegan dim sum and sizzling hot plates until October 3, 2022. Some of the recommended dishes include steamed hot buns, mixed mushroom wrapped in rice noodles, Fun Guo stuffed with mixed vegetables, tofu fried with chili and salt, and more.
Eathai is a Central Embassy’s gathering place for Thai street food lovers. Jay revellers will be able to indulge in many regional vegetarian dishes here, including red curry with vegan roasted duck, bean paste dip with vegan mackerel and vegetables, many vegan stir-fry dishes such as stir-fried vegan egg noodles, and more.

The Vegan Chocolate and Vegan Oat Milk ice cream from Albero
Hunting for vegan ice cream during Jay? Then head straight to Albero, the premium Italian gelato spot at Embassy’s Open House on the 6th floor. For the Vegetarian Festival, Albero has formulated special flavours including the incredibly tasty Vegan Chocolate and Vegan Oat Milk. (Albero, hear us out: make them permanent flavours?)
For bubble tea addicts who will not forgo their beloved drink while participating in Jay, Koi is offering their Koy The Soy special until October 15, 2022. The vegan signature comprises Koi’s golden bubbles with a great blend of soy milk. Sweetness level can be adjusted to your preference.
