Prada Opens New Women’s Boutique at Siam Paragon in Bangkok

Prada celebrated the grand opening of its latest women’s fashion boutique at Siam Paragon, Bangkok, with an exclusive cocktail event on 18 October. Welcoming Thai celebrities and brand ambassadors, the event was a highlight for Prada fans.

Prada hosted an exclusive cocktail event to celebrate the grand opening of its newest boutique dedicated to women’s fashion at Siam Paragon in Bangkok, Thailand on 18 October. This event welcomed a huge crowd of well-known Thai celebrities and Prada ambassadors, making it a memorable occasion for fans of the brand.

The new boutique spans over 430 square metres and features Prada’s full range of women’s ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, footwear and accessories. The store’s design highlights Prada’s aesthetic, setting it apart in one of Bangkok’s most upscale shopping destinations.

A Signature Design Inspired by Milan

The design of the new Prada boutique captures the brand’s signature look, inspired by the original Prada store in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan. A striking feature is the iconic Prada triangle pattern, both inside and outside the store. The entrance, with a large glass window, offers a clear view of the boutique’s interiors. Stepping inside, visitors are welcomed by the brand’s signature black-and-white chequered marble floor, a nod to the classic Milan store. The pastel green walls with black metal detailing create a modern yet timeless backdrop for the collections on display.

Celebrity Appearances and Memorable Moments

The event saw the presence of Prada ambassadors and popular Thai celebrities, including Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, Toey Jarinporn Joonkiat, Freen Sarocha Chankimha, Ink Waruntorn Paonil, Pat Chayanit Chansangavej, Prim Patnasiri, JJ Krissanapoom Pibulsonggram and Ryu Vachirawich Watthanaphakdeephaisan. Each celebrity was styled head-to-toe in elegant Prada products.

Koktail had an exclusive chat with the brand ambassadors and asked them to share what they felt was their most Prada trait and to choose a special item they’d pick for their fans.

Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn

When asked what makes him the perfect fit as the face of Prada, Win answered with humour and flair, saying,

“If I’m bleeding, my blood would say Prada.”

For his fan item, he selected a piece that reflects his playful side, the Leo teddy bag charm from Prada’s Holiday 2024 collection.

Toey Jarinporn Joonkiat

Toey shared that if she could embody one Prada quality, it would be sustainability.

“If I have to select one thing, I would choose sustainability. When I pick things to use right now, I want to choose something I can use for a long time, and Prada has that timeless quality.”

Ink Waruntorn Paonil

Ink chose a fan favourite that also reflects her personal style.

“If I can select one item for my fans, it would be the Prada triangle-logo hair clips, as many fans already see me using them frequently. They’re practical, versatile and perfect for everyday wear.”

Pat Chayanit Chansangavej

Pat’s pick was simple yet meaningful.

“I think I would choose something classic, such as a plain-coloured tank top—something that could be part of my everyday look.”

JJ Krissanapoom Pibulsonggram

JJ chose a fan item that combined style and functionality.

“If I can select one item for my fans, it would be the Prada ring because it’s very cute, or if I wanted something more practical, it would be the Prada keychain Saffiano leather robot trick.”
