With the new year kicking off, it’s time to discover fresh spots to set the vibe. Here’s Koktail first curated list of the year, featuring top places to visit and what to do while you’re there.
The legendary collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami makes a return at LV The Place Bangkok. This year’s Visionary Journeys exhibition has been reimagined to spotlight their latest collection.
Start your journey at the Trunkscape, an installation by Japanese architect Shohei Shigematsu of OMA. This immersive space features 96 trunks from the Courrier collection, framed by animated displays of Murakami’s signature characters.
The Collaboration Room features the archives, showcasing seven iconic designs from the 2003 to 2009 partnership, including the Eye Love Monogram Speedy and Monogram Cerise Speedy. The experience culminates in a room filled with remastered animations like Superflat Monogram and Superflat First Love, inspired by Alice in Wonderland.
Catch this fusion of fashion and art until 30 April.
LV The Place Bangkok

Organised by Inception Cultural & Creative from Taiwan, this event lets you explore the world of dinosaurs at Dinolab Bangkok 2025, an interactive exhibition that brings the Jurassic era to life. Covering 2,000 square metres at ICONSIAM, the exhibition offers a detailed look at dinosaurs through engaging lab spaces. Visitors can explore a dinosaur DNA storage room, a skeletal collection room, and take a model train ride simulating a mission to bring dinosaurs back from 100 million years ago.
The exhibition features lifelike baby dinosaur models, showing the process from egg hatching to care. A hands-on fossil digging area allows visitors to use tools similar to those used by paleontologists. For a unique experience, ride a moving dinosaur model designed to replicate real movements.
The exhibition runs from 22 January to 16 April. Tickets are available on Ticketmelon.

The beloved story of The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry comes alive in a spectacular interactive exhibition at ICONSIAM. Covering 2,000 square metres, The Little Prince Universe immerses visitors in themes of love, friendship and self-discovery.
This magical journey opens on January 20 and continues until May 11, at the Attraction Hall on ICONSIAM’s 6th floor, captivating audiences of all ages.
For the first time in Thailand, The Little Prince Universe – An Immersive Journey takes you into the heart of the iconic story by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. This beloved tale of life, love, friendship and self-discovery is reimagined in a digital interactive experience that lets you truly be part of the world of The Little Prince.
Spanning over 2,000 square metres, the exhibition offers a sensory adventure that everyone can explore, interact with, and enjoy.
This immersive journey runs from 20 January to 11 May. A must-see for fans of the classic story.

At JWD Art Space, Modern Eden: Boy’s Garden / Girl’s Sanctuary by Anmom and Phai Tanasan challenges traditional gender roles through evocative visuals.
Anmom’s works celebrate the emotional depth and vulnerability of men, while Phai Tanasan’s pieces showcase the strength and independence of contemporary women. Together, their art creates a nuanced dialogue on the concepts of masculinity and femininity.
The exhibition runs from 11 January to 16 February, offering an inspiring space where strength and softness harmonise.

Kick off the year with creativity and music at the Students’ Talent Shows in the Garden at Phra Sumen Fort. Held every Friday in January, this event features youth performances in a charming outdoor setting.
Enjoy a mix of Western and Thai music, traditional dance and interactive workshops, set against the historic backdrop of Santi Chai Prakan Park.

Travel to the stars at Space Journey Bangkok, hosted at BITEC Bangna’s Event Space 97. After drawing over a million visitors across Europe, this global exhibition makes its Asian debut. The 2,000-square-metre space features over 600 rare space artifacts, including Saturn V F-1 engine parts, Apollo mission control panels, a life-sized Apollo Command Module replica and rover models from the Moon and Mars.
With 10 interactive zones, the exhibition combines projection mapping, films and hands-on experiences like the Gyroscope, offering a fun, educational journey through space.
Running until April 16, tickets are available for 650 THB.
BITEC Bangna’s Event Space 97
Looking for something unique and delicious? Try Nyonya food at Jyak and Lym, and you might find yourself coming back for more. For those already fans of this cuisine, it’s about to become your new favourite spot in town.
Jyak & Lym Bangkok focuses on peranakan cuisine, also known as nyonya food, which combines Chinese, Malay and Indonesian influences. The menu highlights a balance of flavours, all prepared with traditional techniques.
The soy sauce pork (tau ew bak) features tender pork belly in a caramelised sauce served in a crispy yam bowl. The nyonya pie tee offers a mix of vegetables in handmade crispy shells, topped with steamed prawns. Another dish, nyonya prawns (sambal goreng), comes in a creamy broth of lemongrass, shrimp paste and coconut milk.
