Kimmy Kimberly Anne Woltemas

and her heroine Ann Thongprasom

For Kimmy, it’s all about putting in the effort. She totally admires Ann Thongprasom, the legendary actress, for how she dives into every role. Kimmy really respects how Ann never cuts corners.

“She always shows up prepared, gives it her all and stays true to herself, which is impressive in the Thai entertainment industry, where that can be tough sometimes.”

Mai Davika Hoorne

and her heroine, her mother Rattanakorn Chomyong

Mai grew up with a single parent. Rattanakorn raised Mai with a blend of strength and tenderness and now, Mai is one of the most successful stars in Thailand.

“Whenever I feel exhausted, I think about everything my mum overcame. She handled it all on her own and never complained. That’s real power,” Mai shares.

Margie Rasri Balenciaga

and her heroine, her mother Orasri Balenciaga

“The best woman I know” is how Margie describes her mum Orasri.

Margie shares that her mum built her career while always keeping their bond strong. For her, Orasri is the perfect mix of ambition and care.

“She worked super hard, but there was always time for love,” says Margie.

Goy Arachaporn Pokinpakorn

and her heroine, her mother Laksana Songsuwan

Another star celebrating her single mum is Goy, who credits her mother as her

“ultimate support system”

She tells us her mum taught her to be tough and that setbacks aren’t the end – they’re just the start of a comeback.

Natty Nantanat Thakadkul and her heroine Ann Thongprasom

Ann Thongprasom makes another appearance on this list. Natty admires Ann’s rock-solid sense of self in an industry that often tests a lot of your individuality and personal boundaries. Ann is legendary not just because of her talent, but because of how she’s navigated the industry and fame.

Natty tells us, “Decades in the spotlight and she still maintains her ethics and authenticity. That’s rare and worth looking up to.”

Dream Apichaya Phanichtrakool

and her heroine Jennie Kim

“Jennie Kim is my girl crush… Her fashion sense is my favourite,” Dream says.

Dream said that she’s particularly drawn to Jennie’s confidence, versatility and killer style. It’s Jennie’s self-assurance that really stands out to Dream, and it’s a trait she totally admires.

As we bid farewell to Women’s History Month, the celebration doesn’t end here. The uplifting of women and our strength, alongside our vulnerability, endures as the world lasts. These stars remind us that inspiration comes in many forms – whether it’s the legendary actress who maintains her principles, the single mother who moves mountains or the global icon who radiates confidence. Here’s to the women who light the way!
