Brad Pitt unveils Le Domaine, his Vegan-Friendly and Unisex Skincare Line

The actor states he isn’t a fan of the ‘anti-aging’ mentality

Brad Pitt has entered the world of beauty and launched Le Domaine, a cruelty-free and genderless skincare line.

The actor co-founded Le Domaine with the Perrin family of organic wine growers. The idea for the skincare range came about at the Château Miraval winery in France, after exploring the treasures of the vineyard since 2012. Working together with the Perrin family, Brad helped cultivate the estate’s grapevines and built a strong partnership. Le Domaine is built with the same mindset and desire to preserve Earth and its ecosystem, reflected in the brand’s push to harness nature, produce less but better, source quality products and know-how, and work closely sourced with local and family partners.

According to an interview with Vogue, Pitt is not a fan of terms like “anti-aging”, as he believes it’s a fairy tale. As someone who has spent almost his whole life in the spotlight, Pitt is certainly all too familiar with the pressures of appearing young. “I don’t want to be running from aging. It’s a concept we can’t escape, and I would like to see our culture embracing it a bit more. Just age healthy. Age in a healthy manner.”

According to Le Domaine’s website, it features two exclusive, patented active ingredients called GSM10 and ProGR3. Made from wine grape extracts, GSM10 has antioxidant properties, works against the destruction of collagen, and can help balance the skin. ProGR3 is made from a combination of plant extracts, vine cuttings, chamomile and green tea to target visible signs of skin damage.

The skincare line values green beauty. The brand features refillable products, upcycled packaging materials, and formulas that are between 96% and 99% of natural origin. As mentioned on the website, products are vegan-friendly and exclude ingredients that are subject of controversy regarding the environment or the natural balance of your body.
