World’s First ‘Jumanji’ Theme Park is Coming to the UK

Fans of the 1995 movie starring Robin Williams or the recent reboots with Dwayne Johnson will be able to experience an immersive world inspired by the films in 2023

It doesn’t matter whether you’re team ’90s or team 2010s Jumanji, the fantastical world of adventure and excitement is about to come to real life in the UK. The world’s very first Jumanji theme park is landing in Spring 2023 at Chessington World of Adventures and will include thrilling rides like a jaguar roller coaster.

The £17 million (approximately 700 hundred million baht) development in Chessington will be the biggest ever in the Surrey resort’s history. This will also mark the first-ever Jumanji-themed land in an amusement park in the world.

Details on what to expect are still unclear but are set to be revealed in the coming months. So far, what we do know is that there will be a 55-foot replica of the Jaguar Shrine from Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle. The park will feature wild rides, adventurous attractions, and drama-filled experiences.

Chessington World of Adventures itself boasts over 40 rides and adventures, a zoo, an aquarium, and two hotels. Although there are many types of tickets and passes, standard day tickets start at £36 (1,500 baht).
