When the pandemic happened, artists were one of the many people who were severely hit. As Bangkok comes back to life, the artists have also returned. This week, we highlight some local and international multimedia creators all around Bangkok. Appreciate their masterpieces, show your support for the arts, and have a good time with some of our picks.
Journey through the wondrous world of French artist Chloé Kelly Miller who is displaying her vibrant, thought-provoking, and eclectic art in the Love Will Keep Us Together exhibition at So/ Bangkok Hotel. Her inspiration is drawn from experience as someone with a hearing disability and a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Crafting a mixed media body of work using everything from acrylics and graffiti to inks and drawings, the two-month installation will be the start of her debut solo show in Asia.

To close off Pride Month, the SCG foundation is sponsoring the Pride Month: Pride of All Genders exhibition currently hosted at the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (BACC). From Bangkok-based French photographer and videographer Gabriel Camelin comes a mixed media installation piece that perfectly blends the fascination between sinfulness and mysticism. The video collage format invites the audience to view a combination of dancers, mythical creatures, and shadowplay. You can visit the installation at Black Pagoda Club.
