1/6 Core หนัง 2022

Lights, camera, action! The Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Thammasat University is hosting “Core หนัง 2022” (read as “core nung”), an event screening 17 movies from film and photography students with genres ranging from romance to horror. Audiences can do walk-ins this year but tickets are limited so don’t forget to book and confirm your spot.

2/6 Som’s Table x Nómada

In celebration of Peru’s Independence day, chef Jutamas “Som” Theantae of Som’s Table is partnering with South American chef Andre Josef Nweh Severino of Dusit Thani Hua Hin for an exquisite menu consisting of Oyster Kiss, Scallop Quinoa Pop, Braised Beef Tongue, and a number of other dishes inspired by Thai street food and Peruvian flavours.

3/6 An Italian Affair at Age – Chapter 2

4/6 Poetic License

Join award-winning writer Chiranan Pitpreecha at The Peninsula Bangkok for her special immersive exhibition. “Poetic License” is the intersection between poetry and visual arts. By leaning into techniques such as installation, photography, and painting, the artist was able to execute her rich experience and multi-faceted craft flawlessly.

5/6 Serendipity’s Fate

Do you believe in destiny? “Serendipity’s Fate” is an exhibition that takes you through the spontaneous life paths that relate to the collective highs and lows of human experiences. For this show, artist Kannika Jansuwan created over 55 pieces of oil paintings to illustrate her curiosity and interest in mythical legends, tarot readings, and spirituality. The exhibition is also interactive and invites participants to be a part of the creative process.

6/6 Second North-East India Festival

Honouring the 75th anniversary of Thai-Indian diplomatic relations, Central World will be hosting the two-day North-East India Festival where micro to medium enterprises get to showcase their regional products such as handicrafts, authentic Indian cuisine, textile, agricultural products, and more. Exchange cultural and academic views in the event’s seminar led by historians and scholars, tune in for traditional Indian dances, watch live music from both countries’ leading rock bands, and attend a fashion show led by top Indian designers and models.
