New Christmas Movies to watch over the Holidays

Refresh your holiday movie watching tradition with these new releases

As Christmas approaches, it’s time to get into the festive spirit with some good old (but new) Christmas movies! Although they tend to be a little corny, sometimes that’s exactly what we need after getting through the last 12 months. With so many new seasonal flicks around now, we’ve sifted through the lot for the more worthwhile titles, whether it has to do with the cast or a unique premise. All of the following movies are available to stream now.

1/6 Falling for Christmas

If the return of Lindsay Lohan isn’t enough reason for you to watch this movie, then we don’t know what is. A Hallmark style Christmas rom-com, Falling for Christmas follows Sierra Belmont (Lindsay Lohan), a spoiled heiress who undergoes a skiing accident right before Christmas. Diagnosed with amnesia, she finds herself in the care of cabin owner Jake (Chord Overstreet) and, exactly as you’d expect, she ends up falling in love with the lodge keeper.

2/6 Christmas With You

Christmas With You follows a young pop star Angelina (Aimee Garcia), who escapes her daily life to grant a young fan’s wish to meet her in a small town in New York. Not only does the decision and ensuing events breathe new life into her career, but she also finds a shot at true love along the way.

3/6 The Noel Diary

Best-selling author Jake Turner (Justin Hartley) returns home for Christmas to settle his mother’s estate. Will an old diary unlock their pasts and hearts?

4/6 Love Hard

This lighthearted romantic comedy—which may be playing on the title of another famously debated Christmas movie—revolves around Natalie Bauer (Nina Dobrev), an LA writer who falls for her perfect match on a dating app after forming a strong connection with him over long phone calls. She decides to surprise him for the holidays, only to find out she’s been catfished.
