Hungry Wolf’s is the creation of American owner and chef Adam Eller, this large and popular diner offers a wide selection of traditional classics and lesser-known surprises in a lively and fun ambience. Daily specials are available, and chef Adam’s sought-after pork belly porchetta is a firm favourite, prone to speedy sell-out. Begin with appetisers of house-made sourdough flatbreads, layered with herbs, tomatoes, and parmesan and sprinkled with feta or crispy fried garlic and rosemary mozzarella sticks, gooey cheese mingling with garlic, and accompanied by seafood sauce. Choose a pasta plate, an authentically made carbonara with egg yolk, pecorino cheese and crunchy pork belly dice or comforting fettuccine with ground beef cheek and pork belly meatballs bathed in a rich tomato sauce. Favourites range from baby back ribs, rumoured to be the juiciest in Chiang Rai, to renowned pizzas, both large and satisfying. Perhaps five cheese supreme, composed of smoked mozzarella, Parmesan, ricotta, cheddar and feta, brought together with garlic cream and ranch sauce, and sprinkled with basil. Select steaks from Australian black Angus ribeye, hanger or strip, and if with friends, a wagyu tomahawk or the stunning T-bone, prepared with Kansas City dry rub for sharing. There is also a fabulous range of American-style sandwiches and sliders. A comprehensive wine list is available, along with cocktails and beers.
