Entering Breeze on the 51st floor of the renowned Lebua State Tower is nothing short of breathtaking. Guided along an illuminated glass catwalk by attentive service staff, diners descend a staircase into the open-air dining area with sweeping views across the Chao Praya river. While Breeze offers à la carte dining, opting for the tasting menu is an opportunity to try more of the restaurant’s elegant take on Chinese cuisine. This journey begins with an exquisite dim sum selection featuring Sakura shrimp with crab roe har gow and a scrumptious abalone and white pepper tart. Each bite is an indulgence in generous portions of premium seafood wrapped in flawless doughs, tender with a pleasant bite. Next up, lobster wontons shaped like playful fish emerge bathed in a vibrant chilli vinaigrette delighting the palate. A standout dish is wok-fried wagyu beef tenderloin impeccably seared to a crisp exterior yet marvellously juicy within. Opting for the wine pairing elevates the experience with this dish, served with a fabulous Amarone. Concluding on a high note dessert showcases a harmonious fusion of Thai flavours with Thai tea mille-feuille accompanied by fresh berries, chocolate crumble and a refreshing Thai tea ice cream.
