The simply named The Dining Room at Grand Hyatt Erawan offers a serene escape from the bustling Ratchaprasong district. The restaurant, set in a spacious atrium bathed in natural light, is matched by exceptionally attentive service. The menu primarily features a buffet, but there is also a comprehensive à la carte selection. The buffet is an international feast, offering an array of choices from across the globe. In addition to international favourites, it includes carved sirloin of beef, seafood such as fresh mussels and prawns, made-to-order sushi, pizzas of premium quality, and even a multitude of ramens. The signature lamb chops, cooked to preference and served with a rich wine sauce, are incredibly tasty. Included in the buffet price are unique beverages such as ginger honey, and there are a number of options for free-flow wine, in addition to a tempting selection of reds and whites. Desserts include Thailand’s iconic mango sticky rice along with a variety of vibrant mini cakes such as blueberry and lemon meringue tarts, each so tempting that you’ll find yourself indulging even after a hearty meal. Homemade ice cream is a must-try, especially the mix of banana, mango, and passion fruit, a unique flavour combination. With a wide variety of gourmet specialities on offer, the restaurant caters to both in-house hotel guests and visitors.
A visit to the ice cream trolley is obligatory.
