Tech wizard Vipitakhun, or Sea, studied Technopreneurship and Innovation Management at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi and has been with Kasikorn Business-Technology Group (KBTG) ever since. He not only develops the programmes or applications, he has to conduct research into customer requirements and lifestyle, act as tester, project manager, business analyst as well as legal matters. He has worked on several projects, from K+ Shop to co-innovation projects like the Covid-19 alternative vaccine registration platform in collaboration with Thonburi Healthcare Group (THG). Most recently, he helped to create “Khun Thong”, a social chatbot on the LINE platform to help users manage financial matters. To work out shared costs of a meal or outing, Khun Thong is perfect for calculating expenses, splitting the bill and collecting payment, acting as the group’s “treasurer”. Sea has been winning awards for his innovations since a student including Best Senior Project: Computer Engineer KMUTT 2014, Winners Honorable Mention in the National Software Contest (NSC2010) and Winner Good Game Developer Projects 2012. He also created an animated StopDrink cartoon (2012) for the Thai Health Promotion Foundation.
