Fashion Week 2025: The Thai Invasion We All Needed

A cheeky spin on how Thai stars stormed Fashion Week with their own flair.

Staying updated with the Fashion Week schedule is crucial for fashion enthusiasts and clothing companies to keep pace with industry trends. These biannual events take place in major fashion capitals, featuring runway shows that showcase the latest collections from established luxury brands and emerging designers. Fashion Weeks offer week-long celebrations filled with captivating presentations that combine music, lighting and visual artistry. Notable Fashion Weeks include London, Paris, Milan, New York and São Paulo, each contributing uniquely to the global fashion landscape. Traditionally, Fall/Winter shows are held in February and March, while Spring/Summer shows take place in September and October, allowing designers to present their collections ahead of the respective seasons.

Historically, New York Fashion Week has kicked off the seasonal cycle, followed by London, Milan and finally Paris, which often closes the Fashion Week calendar, showcasing the most prestigious collections in the industry. This timing allows designers to capitalise on market trends and influences, shaping the direction of fashion for the upcoming seasons.

But the highlight is that this year’s Fashion Week saw a mix of Thai celebrities making their mark on the international fashion scene. With eye-catching runway appearances and stylish moments in the front row, a range of talented stars attended the event showcasing their unique flair and elevating Thailand's presence in the world of high fashion. Let’s take a closer look at who graced the runway and attended the shows, capturing the spotlight with their distinct styles and charisma.

Milan Fashion Week

This season, four of Thailand’s hottest fashion icons—Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, Nani Hirunkit Changkham, Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak and Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul—made a bold appearance, flying to Milan to attend the much-anticipated Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 shows. This world-class event showcased collections from top global brands, drawing attention from fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

June 15, 2024 – Nani Hirunkit: The Tiger Prince

First up, Nani Hirunkit stormed into the Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2025 Men’s Collection show wearing a tiger-print shirt so bold it practically growled. There are fashion statements, and then there’s wearing the entire animal kingdom on your back. Naturally, Nani wasn’t just there to watch; he stole the limelight faster than you can say ‘Dolce.’ The designers loved him, the cameras adored him, and everyone else? Well, they were left to pick their jaws off the floor.

June 16, 2024 – Win Metawin: Prada’s Golden Boy

Win Metawin, known as the brand ambassador for Prada, made a grand entrance at the Prada Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 Fashion Show. He sported a sleek brown wool set that highlighted his fashion sense. Positioned front row, Win's radiant presence captured the spotlight, proving once again that he is a force to be reckoned with in the international fashion world.

June 17, 2024 – Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat: Double Trouble

Just when you thought Milan had reached peak Thai star power, in walk Gemini Norawit and Fourth Nattawat at the Zegna Summer 2025 collection show, looking like they were born for the runway. Heads turned, cameras flashed and somewhere in the back, a few European models were probably rethinking their life choices. But it wasn’t just about the clothes; it was the attitude. Cool, calm and unapologetically stylish—just the kind of Thai invasion we all signed up for.

September 17, 2024 – Bella Ranee: Queen of Fendi

Then came Bella Ranee. Now, you might think fashion shows are just about the clothes. But when Fendi invited Bella, their brand ambassador, to Milan Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2025 showcase, it became all about her. The queen of Thai television stepped into the spotlight, exuding elegance and charm that could only be matched by the finest tailoring. Bella wasn’t just attending a show—she was the show.

September 18, 2024 – Mew Suppasit: History Maker

If you thought Bella set the bar, Mew Suppasit came along and catapulted it into the stratosphere. Mew wasn’t just here to dazzle the front row—oh no. He took to the Boss runway as the only Thai model to walk for Boss in the Spring/Summer 2025 collection. If that isn’t making history, I don’t know what is. His stride? Confident. His look? Impeccable. And the crowd? Well, let’s just say Boss might want to extend his contract before anyone else snaps him up.

September 18, 2024 – Baifern Pimchanok: Cool and Collected

On the same day, we had Baifern Pimchanok, Thai actress and friend of Onitsuka Tiger Thailand, attending their Spring/Summer 2025 collection show. Surrounded by celebrities and A-listers from every corner of the globe, Baifern effortlessly held her own. While others posed and preened, Baifern’s calm confidence proved that she’s not just a pretty face but a fashion force to be reckoned with.

September 19, 2024 – Toey Jarinporn: Prada Power

The next day, Toey Jarinporn took her place at the Prada Spring/Summer 2025 show, and it’s safe to say she didn’t disappoint. Dressed to perfection in Prada’s Holiday 2024 collection, she held her own among some of the industry’s elite, including Jaehyun from NCT and Karina from AESPA. Prada may have showcased a collection, but Toey was the real showstopper that day.

September 19, 2024 – Zee Pruk and Namtan Tipnaree: Double Trouble 2.0

Milan had more of Thailand as then in walked Zee Pruk and Namtan Tipnaree at the Emporio Armani Spring/Summer 2025 show. The two stars lit up the venue, pulling focus from every angle. Their stylish appearances weren’t just impressive—they were a masterclass in making fashion work for you.

September 20, 2024 – Mew Suppasit and Tul Pakorn: Tod’s Tandem

And as if that wasn’t enough Thai power in one week, Mew Suppasit returned, this time with Tul Pakorn, to attend the Tod’s Spring/Summer 2025 show. The duo was all elegance and sophistication, effortlessly blending into the world of Italian luxury. Let’s be honest—it was the kind of tandem act you’d pay good money to see.

September 20, 2024 – Gulf Kanawut: Gucci’s Golden Child

The true star of Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 show was none other than Gulf Kanawut. As Gucci’s brand ambassador, Gulf’s stylish presence was always expected, but what we got was an outright masterclass in owning the runway without even stepping foot on it. Gulf wasn’t just a guest—he was Gucci personified, leaving everyone else in the dust.

Paris Fashion Week: French Flair Meets Thai Talent

January 23, 2024 - Mai Davika: Queen of Giambattista Valli

Paris got its own taste of the Thai invasion when Mai Davika Hoorne strutted down the runway for Giambattista Valli at Paris Fashion Week. It wasn’t just a debut; it was a moment. Walking in the finale look, Mai proved that Thai stars don’t just attend Fashion Week—they own it.

March 3, 2024 – PP Krit: All Red Everything

And then there’s PP Krit, who turned up at Balenciaga looking like he stepped straight out of a fashion editorial. It instantly became a topic of conversation when the brand ambassador made an appearance at the Balenciaga Winter 2024 fashion show in Paris, France, during Paris Fashion Week. He stunned the crowd in a striking total red look from Balenciaga’s Fall 2024 collection, perfectly paired with the key item from the Summer 2024 collection, the Rodeo bag with charms, highlighting his presence as an important front-row guest.

Stay Tuned: More Thai Stars to Come

And the best part? We’re not done yet. Keep your eyes peeled for Jeff Satur and Freen Sarocha as they prepare to grace the Maison Valentino Spring/Summer 2025 show in Paris on September 29, 2024. If this year’s Fashion Week has taught us anything, it’s that Thailand is no longer just attending the party—they’re hosting it.

New York Fashion Week

September 9, 2024 – Gemini, Fourth, Pond and Phuwin

Four Thailand stars—Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak, Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul, Pond Naravit and Phuwin Tangsakyuen—were spotted front row at the Tommy Hilfiger Spring Summer 2025 show where a lot of celebrities attended including Jisoo Blackpink.

London Fashion Week

September 20, 2024 – Bright Vachirawit

Closing the day was Bright Vachirawit, who made waves at the Burberry Summer 2025 show. Bright sat front row at London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2025, showcasing a fresh new look with his red hair. Sporting a Burberry Check shirt under a sleek black leather jacket, he impressed attendees with his style. Additionally, Bright took the opportunity to chat with football legend Rio Ferdinand, adding a memorable highlight to his appearance.

The presence of Thai celebrities at the fashion extravaganzas was not a mere coincidence—Thailand’s biggest stars didn’t just attend—they dominated. They turned front rows into their own stages, mingling with designers, rubbing shoulders with global icons and—most importantly—showing the world that Thailand is no longer just a spectator in the world of fashion. Watch out Paris, New York, London and Milan—the Thais are coming as Bangkok International Fashion Week (followed by Elle Fashion Week) are approaching, and they’re here to stay.
