Billie Eilish is Coming to Bangkok for her First Time Ever

We are ‘Happier Than Ever’

Billie Eilish stans in Bangkok get ready, as the 20-year-old singer and local organisers have officially announced that Bangkok will be a stop on Asian leg of her Happier Than Ever tour. The award-winning artist will make her way to the City of Angels on August 24 after performing in Manila, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, and before departing for her last stop, Tokyo. Currently, she and her brother-producer Finneas are busy touring Europe, and this tour will officially be her first time in Bangkok after the previous Where Do We Go? world tour got cancelled due to the pandemic.

Billie’s fame has soared quickly over the past few years, from a completely unknown artist writing and recording songs with her brother at home, to one of the most discussed female vocalists in the world. (A reminder that by 19, she had joined the hallowed ranks of a James Bond film soundtrack artist.)

Recounting her footsteps, Billie's debut single was Ocean Eyes, which would be included in her first EP, Don’t Smile At Me (2017). With two studio albums now under her belt, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? (2019) and Happier Than Ever (2021), not only is she proving to be an accomplished artist but is known to consistently use her platform to raise awareness for issues beyond music. Some of the movements near and dear to her are body positivity, abortion rights, animal welfare, and sustainability and the climate crisis. Vegan since 12, the musician has teamed up with Reverb for the current tour to put climate action in the spotlight.

Whilst we scramble to get tickets for what will surely be a sold-out concert, here's a mini-documentary on how Billie has prepared for this tour:

Artist Pre-Sale starts on June 24th, while the Live Nation Presale starts on June 25th. General sales begin on June 27th.
