Doc Club & Pub Opens at Woof Pack Saladaeng

Woof Pack Building’s new independent movie theater fills in the hole in our hearts left by the closing of Bangkok Screening Room

For those sad about the closure of Bangkok Screening Room, the space at Woof Pack Building on Saladaeng Soi 1 has been taken over by a rightful tenant, as cinema lovers will surely see. Revamped with new interiors, Doc Club & Pub had its soft opening earlier this month on September 5, inviting film buffs to come enjoy a cool place to hang out and watch films.

For now, three screenings available each day at Doc Club & Pub: 12pm, 2:30pm and 5:30pm. Rounds are limited to 12 people at the moment, and customers need to book seats in advance via Facebook inbox and pay a 100 baht deposit that will be returned upon arrival at the venue.

With access to a 4k-enabled screening room, it's Doc Club & Pub’s mission to screen films outside of the mainstream and to keep ticket prices as accessible as 150 baht. Venue members will get a further 10% discount, and affordable bites and drinks are also available, as well as alcoholic beverages when the city permits.

Although named ‘Documentary Club and Pub’, films won’t be limited to only documentaries. Expect great films like queer classic Farewell My Concubine or South Korean psychological thriller Burning.

If you can’t wait to visit the new space, reserve your spot via Doc Club & Pub’s Facebook page.
