Join ‘Thailand CAN’ To Make Clean Air Our Future

Mark your calendars for a meaningful cause this weekend

For those passionate about making our surroundings more livable, the Thai Urban Environment Network (TUEN) is currently hosting an exhibition called “Citizens Make Change” at the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre (BACC) from December 2021 to April 2022. “Citizens Make Change” is a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience from over 20 civil-society groups working on urban and environmental issues. Among these groups is Thailand Clean Air Network (Thailand CAN), a collective of interdisciplinary volunteer-citizens who work with both the private and public sectors to combat the complex issue of air pollution.

As part of “Citizens Make Change”, Thailand CAN is hosting a special two-day event at the BACC this weekend. Taking place on January 8-9, 2022, from 10am until 7pm, a series of art exhibitions, performances, educational seminars, and workshops facilitated by Thailand CAN will be centered on the topic of clean air. Environmentalists and talented artists who will be participating in the event include model-activist Maria Poonlertlarp, writer and documentary producer Wannasingh Prasertkul, artist and design consultant Taweesak Molsawat, and artists Supmanee Chaisanuk and Thanawat Maneenawa.
