Collaborating with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Banyan Tree Veya Phuket, and Thai Smile Airways, Thai fashion house Disaya recently unveiled 'Sailing to Positano', the latest collection from the Disaya Vacationist sub-brand on location in Phuket with a stunning event.
According to creative director Disaya Sorakraikitikul, this collection reflects the many aspects of Positano, Italy. The fabric patterns of mermaids mixed with various sea animals were created using watercolour techniques inspired by Le Sirenuse Hotel. Ceramica Assunta, a handcrafted porcelain shop in Positano with an array of colours and sailor uniforms, was another source of inspiration. The lovely collection aims to display the individual personalities of women who enjoy a life of travel and wellness.
With Phuket part of the sandbox programme, it was the ideal opportunity to debut the new collection with a fashion show, titled 'The Pearl of the Andaman', there. Making the most out of the trip to the beautiful south, guests of the Disaya fashion show were also treated leisure on a yacht, including healthy meals, meditation, and brain development exercises.
Numerous VIP and Thai celebrities attended the trip, including Na-Chanok Ratanadaros and Sikanya Saktidej Bhanubandh, Sarunrat and Matthew Deane, Fonthip Watcharatrakul, Chalita Suansane, Rathfar Chaichueanjit, Monchanok Saengchaipiangpen and many others.
