Thai Celebs who won at Halloween This Year

Welcome to Thai Celebween

For the past few years, the celebrity circle in Thailand has been taking a page out of Heidi Klum's book and going all out with their Halloween getups. This year was no exception, with many celebs surprising us with unique yet iconic fictional character portrayals. Here are our favorite looks from the locally famous. Happy Halloween!

Vatanika: Rhaenyra Targaryen

The competition is over, we can all go home now. Just kidding. There's plenty more to see on our list, but truly, if the assignment was to dress up as the most iconic female character of the year, celebrity fashion designer Vatanika (and her boo) have just graduated top of the class with this impeccable House of the Dragon cosplay

Korn, Sririta, and Baby Gavin: The Addams Family

While The Addams Family for Halloween is as expected as ghosts and witches, we can't help but to admire the Narongdejs' attention to detail. Sririta simply looks like she was made to be Anjelica Huston's Morticia. This iteration of The Addams Family is clearly an adaptation of the 1993 Addams Family Values film where Gomez and Morticia welcome to their family Pubert, who's a spitting image of Mr. Addams, mustache and all.

Davika and Ter: 'Death Becomes Her'

May the spirits of Halloween bless Davika Hoorne and "Ter" Chantavit Dhanasevi for bringing to life this essential '90s classic. While Ter looks dapper as Bruce Willis' character, Dr. Menville, we have to hand it to Davika for playing both the parts of Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep. Also, appreciate the special effects incorporated into their Halloween photo shoot, the quality of which sends me right back to those high-tech times.

The Deanes: 'Pee Mak'

If there's one Thai celeb who loves to make a photo shoot out of every occasion, it's singer-actress-mom Lydia Sarunrat Deane. This year, she has cast her family to play the characters of Pee Mak, a famous Thai film based off the equally well-known folklore surrounding a female ghost named Mae Nak. Funny enough, Lydia is playing Davika Hoorne playing Nak. Husband Matthew plays Nak's widower, Mak.

Mint Chalida: Ahmanet from 'The Mummy' (2017)

Mint Chalida takes us back but not too far, portraying the antagonist of the more recent Mummy movie, Egyptian goddess Ahmanet. The model-actress dons black claws, face-painted hieroglyphs, and tattered strips of mummifying cloth. It's true what they say, Mint could literally rock soiled rags and make it fashion.
