Sneak Peek of The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon

The famed hotel chain's Asia flagship is set to open in its central Bangkok location on May 11, 2022

Located between Silom and Sathorn Roads, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is set to be The Standard brand's Asian flagship and set to open any day now, in Q2 of 2022. The new hotel is housed inside the landmark King Power Mahanakhon Building, known for its 78-storey height and multiple F&B and lifestyle outlets.

Keeping up with the brand DNA of the hotel chain, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon aims to be "anything but standard" for its near-future guests. The design of the 155 rooms as well as the hotel's various facilities was led by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon, who is known for his bold and whimsical aesthetics derived from skate and graffiti culture. What then set the modern luxury hotel apart from others in its class and prime location, in terms of design, are the pops of color and fluid shapes, blended stylishly with art and greenery.

Speaking of the facilities, the hotel highlights an outdoor terrace pool that is sure to live up to The Standard's reputation for stunning pools, as well as an ambitiously designed gym that is also offering exclusive memberships to locals. As for the F&B offerings, expect a dynamic array of restaurants, bars, and lounges, including the Standard Grill, nightlife hub The Parlor, Mexican restaurant Ojo, and even Thailand's own chapter of Mott 32—one of the globe's leading Chinese fine dining establishments.

For bookings made from now until July 31, 2022 for the stay period of May 11, 2022—Feb 28, 2023, The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is offering a 25% discount, including breakfast for up to two persons.
