Following the footsteps of his late father, ML Dispanadda or Duke is a development practitioner and a social entrepreneur, with over 20 years of experience. He oversees the foundation’s flagship project, the Doi Tung Development Project and other development programs in Thailand and internationally. He also participates in domestic and international forums promoting the foundation’s sustainable development model to the World Economic Forum, United Nations and other regional forums. Duke is a strong advocate for the environment and social impacts. In 2021, he initiated the “Carbon Credit from Community Forests for Sustainability”, a project done in partnership with the government, corporates and local communities to address the climate crisis, incentivizing local communities to protect the forests through private sector funding in exchange for nature-based carbon credit. In 2019, he also co-founded and currently is the Chairman of Social Enterprise Thailand (SE Thailand). Duke is part of the Schwab Foundation’s Social Entrepreneur and the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader. On a personal side, Duke is a devoted father of three children. He is a self-confessed child at heart and a coffee geek.
