Jitti has seamlessly combined his talents in both Thai classical dance and contemporary dance, honed at The Ailey School in NYC, to create a new global perspective on dance forms. In 2010, he founded 18 Monkeys Dance Theatre, positioning it as a contemporary dance company that integrates dance, sculpture, and visual arts, fostering an interaction that resonates with modern audiences. His style has been aptly described as 'sculptural and animalistic.' In 2016, Jitti served as Artist in Residence at Kylian Foundation and Korzo Theatre in the Netherlands. In 2022, he published 'Choreography,' a retrospective featuring his choreography and photography. His most recent work, the contemporary performance 'School Of Ganesh'—which recently toured in France and Colombia—is accompanied by documentary films and a book titled 'Miscellany Of Khon' This book delves into the history, artistry, and beliefs intrinsic to the traditional performative Khon masks, presenting this cultural knowledge to the international modern-day audience in an accessible way. In recognition of his significant contribution to promoting the performing arts in Thailand, Jitti was awarded the insignia of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French culture minister.
