Dr. Napassaporn, known as Dr. Eem, is known as not only the first Thai woman but also the first woman from Southeast Asia to conquer the seven highest peaks of the seven continents. Her remarkable journey began with Mount Everest (Asia) in 2016, followed by Kilimanjaro (Africa) in 2017, Elbrus (Europe) in 2017, Aconcagua (South America) in 2017, Vinson Massif (Antarctica) in 2018, Puncak Jaya (Oceania) in 2018, and Denali or McKinley (North America) in 2019. The adventure commenced when Dr. Eem was recognized as a potential Everest climber while ascending Kinabalu on Borneo. Despite her petite stature, she demonstrated the strength, pace, tenacity, and quick recovery time required for such a demanding undertaking. Overcoming a last-minute switch from a North Face ascent to the South Col route due to the China-Tibet border conflict, she successfully reached the Everest summit. This success paved the way for the ambitious PTT-sponsored Seven Summits project, which progressed smoothly until Denali when severe weather conditions forced a turnaround. On the second attempt, Dr. Eem was the only climber from the starting group who successfully summited. A vegetarian, Dr. Eem keeps fit through trail running.
