This former TV journalist and news anchor developed a strong social conscience while studying Communication Art at Chulalongkorn University followed by the New York Institute of Technology under the Fulbright Scholarship. In 1991, she founded Payai Creation, a video production house dedicated to creating documentaries and TV programmes that aim to raise awareness and improve the lives of disadvantaged people, particularly children. Yupa takes pride in the international recognition received by her documentaries, including the recent success of Duck Academy. She has been honoured with the Catholic Media Award for Excellence in 2023 for Payai Creation. Notably, her Good Kids, Great Heart series has provided education opportunities to over 800 less fortunate children, contributing to lifting them and their families out of poverty. In 2010, Payai Creation was recognized as one of Thailand's Social Enterprise 50 (SE 50) by the Thai Social Enterprise Office. Yupa has faced challenges due to changes in media platforms and economic downturns over the past decade. However, she remains resilient, adapting to change through trial and error. Currently, she is focused on creating an online platform that amplifies the voices of the less fortunate.
