The founder and CEO of the Saturday School Foundation—established in 2014 to ensure vulnerable and marginalized children stay in school and gain the necessary life skills to equip them for the future—Sorawit has employed teachers, trained volunteers and has partnered with UNICEF to reach over 3,000 children in urban poor areas in Bangkok. During the coronavirus pandemic he switched the foundation’s work to an online platform and in the process created a stronger network across the country and around the world, with volunteers hailing from as far away as Switzerland and Scotland. Sorawit was named an Obama Foundation Asia-Pacific leader in 2019 and Saturday School International was awarded a runner-up place at UNDP Youth Co: Lab Thailand 2018.
