Philanthropist and charity expert, Michael Andreassen is the director of iCare Thailand Foundation, a charitable organisation that is committed and passionate to long-lasting and meaningful community development by executing projects that help the underprivileged and empower the youth. The focus is to enable equal access to education as a means to revolutionise the lives of individuals and their whole communities. Michael strongly believes that education is the only thing that has the power to provide transformation not only to the individual but to the lives of their families and whole communities to break that cycle of poverty. The foundation is driven by the belief that every life has value and everyone has the capability to reach out to those in need by making a positive contribution to society. A few of their many projects include educational and youth development programs, disaster relief, hospital visitation and music therapy, programs for the disabled, and assistance to orphanages and other needy institutions.
