Social :

Born into a family of artists–her father is the National Artist (Literature), writer/poet/artist Dhepsiri Sooksopa and her uncle is traditional performing artist Prateep Sooksopa–she has worked in the art world for as long as she can remember. Her home was always a welcome space for artists of different genres, creating awareness that a creative space is one that provides opportunities and inspiration for artistic creation, as well as understanding and interaction with the community. Over 20 years ago she founded The Wandering Moon & Endless Journey performing arts group of which she is still the artistic director and master of shadow theatre. Her passion for shadow and puppetry took her through life lessons and experience working with many non profit organisations both in Thailand and abroad. To keep alive the artistic works of her father who is suffering from amnesia, she founded the Dhepsiri Creative Space in Chiang Mai as a base for artistic and creative programmes for the healing of modern society. Known as Baan Kru Thep for over 50 years, Dhepsiri Creative Space is now a new art space that is still run as a house in which hidden stories are presented through the eyes of artists.
