Dr Oliver, or Ajarn Olli as he is known, produces fresh, chilled and frozen food products, including plant-based meats for one of Thailand's leading integrated food businesses. He also teaches at Chulalongkorn University and Sasin School of Management. Arriving in Thailand in 2002 with no knowledge of the language, he embarked on a master’s degree course in Economics at Chulalongkorn University, and in 2019, after a painstaking multi-year process, he was granted Thai citizenship of which he is extremely proud. He is working on expanding his food business activities, providing greater and healthier food choices at affordable prices. He is passionate about education and financial literacy which he addresses through his YouTube channel covering business, strategy, finance, investing and soon personal finances, an upcoming book on business strategy, and the Teach for Thailand Foundation. To help groom Thailand's future leaders, he launched McKinsey's "Consulting Fellowship Program" (CFP) in 2008 to identify 15 outstanding young talents per year and help guide them into their future leadership roles. For Thailand to develop, the issues of education, personal finance and debt, social and economic equality, and corruption need to be addressed. And he really would love to have more time to play saxophone.
