Hei Yin, tucked inside Gaysorn Village, offers a refined dining experience rooted in authentic Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant’s turquoise interior evokes a contemporary Chinese ambience, creating a sophisticated atmosphere ideal for relaxed lunches and elegant evening gatherings. The culinary offerings at Hei Yin are a celebration of Cantonese flavours and traditional cooking techniques. Roasted pork belly, showcases the perfect ratio of tender meat with rich fat, capped with satisfyingly crunchy skin. Hong Kong style lychee wood roasted duck boasts juicy succulent meat while maintaining a crispy skin. Fried bean curd with dried shrimp, chilli and salt is a savoury standout, delicately crisp on the outside and incredibly soft inside. For a warm and soothing tasty dish, hot and sour soup with premium fish maw and assorted seafood delivers a comforting balance of heat and punch from the richly flavoured broth. Eponymous Hei Yin fried rice is another crowd-pleaser; aromatic and lightly seasoned, it features crab meat, shrimp, egg white, shrimp roe, Oscietra caviar and crispy dried scallops. End the meal with pan-fried Chinese pancakes filled with mashed red jujube, showcasing a brittle pastry with a mochi-like texture. For a lighter option try chilled mango pudding, a refreshing dessert with delicate texture. Premium Chinese teas, and a list of creative cocktails and wines, complement the dining experience at Hei Yin.
Crispy pork belly is available in limited quantities each day, so be sure to pre-order.
