Mezze opened in late 2023, offering classic Lebanese dishes, many assembled with Levantine-sourced ingredients from Syria and Lebanon; several given a modern update, others authentically presented. Begin with traditional velvety hummus, or choose a truffled version—both will delight. Alternatively, order a chef recommendation of kusa mashi, rice-stuffed zucchini with a flavour-packed combo of minced beef and house-made tomato sauce. Baba ghanoush, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, is tasty. The signature hot mezze platter, including rolls generously packed with cream and akawi cheese, labneh, honey, and roasted almonds, is a joyful gooey mouthful. Cold mezze contains a tempting highlight of warak inab, tasty rice and ground beef-filled grape vine leaves, served with plenty of lemons. From the grill, choose a platter of mixed meats featuring chicken shawarma and beef kebabs, perfect for sharing. Other main course options include a range of pasta dishes, lamb kofta ragù with linguine smothered in a homemade chilli sauce, or slow-cooked beef brisket accompanied by silky mashed potatoes and pickled vegetables. A concise dessert offering includes traditional kanafe. This is one of the rare spots in Bangkok where you can sample Lebanese and Syrian wines. Mezze offers a clever new-age blend of traditional and contemporary Lebanese cuisine in a vibrant Mediterranean-styled setting, a refreshing addition to Bangkok’s food scene.
Be sure to order flaky baklava with yoghurt ice cream.
