Miang kham bua lhuang presents six bite-sized portions wrapped in lotus petals of diced prawn and condiments in a tamarind sauce, packed with fruity and pungent flavours and finishing with a healthy chili punch. The signature Lung Phanom’s beef cheek khao soi blends a savoury yellow curry soup with flat egg noodles and slow-cooked Thai wagyu beef cheek, meltingly tender with pickled mustard greens and lime. Charcoal grill selection has a variety of premium cuts of steak and whole grilled fish. Juicy rib-eye arrives accompanied by salad or fries in rich red wine sauce with Thai northern pepper butter and a mix of regional herbs, whilst the slightly crunchy sautéed green asparagus is a fine accompaniment. The region is renowned for aromatic fruits, so stay local with the inventive baked Chiang Mai strawberry cheesecake with house-made strawberry sorbet, decorative chocolate thins, and summer fruits.
