Tree Top tea house and farmer café sits within the Marasca glamping villa resort. This rustic and chic dining room, with an open kitchen, has a friendly farmhouse ambience. The culinary philosophy is farm to table, supporting local artisans and using ingredients at their best, through an extensive menu of international and Thai favourites. Drinks continue the ethos with freshly squeezed juices, frappes and cold-pressed options. Local avocado is presented in a simple salad or a more elaborate yum nua yang of grilled Korat beef, shallots, and cucumber, bathed in spicy vinaigrette. Classic smashed avocado toast sits on crispy, freshly baked ciabatta with a sprinkling of feta cheese and sweet local cherry tomatoes. Continue with wok-fried pork, chicken or braised beef shank with Thai holy basil and chilli. The accompanying rice is topped with a fried egg, Thai style, crispy white edges, and a super runny yolk. Vegan options of chimichurri cauliflower steak with bell pepper sabayon and roasted spiced aubergine with tomato jus, wild rocket, and caramelised onions are well executed and packed with flavour. For meat lovers, a farmer’s board of roasted Korat chicken, pork ribs, baked potato, and grilled Khao Yai sweetcorn is perfect for sharing. Lime-avocado cheesecake is highly recommended. Desserts of flower pot tiramisu and melon panna cotta are also a pleasant finale.
The outdoor terrace tables offer a fabulous vista; book for weekends.
