Bunrod Arreewong, co-founder of the Poocao Channel, is an example of strength and optimism in the face of adversity. Diagnosed with muscle dystrophy due to cancer treatments at a tender age of three months, Bunrod’s journey has been marked by challenges that could have easily dimmed his spirit. However, with a strong resolve and the love and support of his family and friends, Bunrod has survived and flourished.
Throughout his life, he has faced bullying and discrimination. Yet, he refuses to let these obstacles define him. Instead, he embraces life with an infectious enthusiasm, actively participating in extracurricular activities during his university days at Thammasat University.

The inception of the Poocao Channel, alongside his good friend, Pitpasupat “Poocao” Wongumpai, reflects Bunrod’s dedication to spreading happiness and understanding. With 170K subscribers, the channel provides a space to break down stereotypes related to LGBTQ+ issues and disabilities. Dressed in drag, Bunrod and his friend radiate a contagious joie de vivre, challenging societal norms and advocating for inclusivity.

Without their support, he recognises that his journey would have been far more arduous.
