Riding horses since she was eight years old, “Sai” Jaruporn Limpichati joined Thailand’s National Equestrian Team in 2013 at the age of 19. Three years later, she competed in the Princess Cup Thailand 2016, in the sport of show jumping, and placed second. Over the next three consecutive years of the same competition, Sai would prove herself to be a rising star in the Thai equestrian world, taking home nothing less than first prize at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Princess Cup. Having also earned impressive medals in the SEA Games and Asian Games, the tenacious athlete has been gearing up to redeeming herself at the FEI Asian Championships, however, coronavirus and the deadly African Horse Sickness have proven to be tough obstacles for any professional equestrian. While figuring out the next move in her equestrian career—whether she’ll need to train with other horses abroad to be able to compete in international competitions—Sai is making use of her downtime from the sport to enter into the luxury beauty industry as the managing administrator of a soon-to-be-launched skincare brand.
