Co-founder and president of Soi Dog Foundation International,
John Dalley has been helping street dogs and cats since 2003.
Based in Phuket, the foundation’s work with street animals consists
of spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted puppies and kittens,
along with the rescue, vaccination, medical treatment and sheltering.
The animals rescued by the foundation are cared for and are also
offered for adoption. Since its founding, the Soi Dog Foundation has
sterilised over half a million animals in Thailand. In his free time, John
is an avid hiker and often posts his treks on his YouTube channel.
Dedicated to his duty to give homes to dogs and cats, John hopes
to see a huge reduction in the number of stray animals in Thailand.
In 2020, John was awarded the Most Excellent Order of the British
Empire (MBE) for his services to animal welfare in Southeast Asia.
