Kanokewan, or Ja, has had a diverse career spanning journalism, marketing, production, and education. Her journey led her to discover her passion for organising fundraising concerts to support disadvantaged children. While living in Beijing and working in education at Ivy Education Group after transitioning from journalism at CCTV, Ja seized the opportunity to host a fundraising concert for a well-known Dartmouth acapella group. The event, titled "A Night to Remember," brought together the international group with local young talents and included a silent auction. Recognising the power of music to connect people and contribute to the community, Ja returned to Thailand and founded Kula, an organising company with transparency as its core value. She replicated the successful concert format with "A Night To Remember" in 2022 and 2023, raising over 3.5 million baht to provide scholarships for hundreds of underprivileged children across Thailand. In addition to her work with Kula, Ja is a co-founder and organizer of the Kinnari Music Festival. This initiative provides opportunities for aspiring youth musicians to develop their skills, not only for entertainment but also to help and inspire others.
