Formerly the founder and editor-in-chief of local arthouse magazine and media platform 2Magazine, Lynn Visudharomn and her sister Kim now focus all their energy on Acorn & Associates, their independent content studio offering creative solutions for branding, culture and communication. Approaching branding with a fresh perspective and a whole lot of heart, earlier this year Acorn & Associates joined forces with social impact agency Love Frankie to host a four-day non-profit event called ‘The NOOK, a space for when you are no-OK’, advocating mental health amongst youths in Thailand. A great success in terms of youth turnout and active participation, Lynn and others behind The NOOK were approached by UN Thailand and Facebook to build a 12-week online campaign to further raise awareness around mental health in Thailand. The campaign, #UnknownTogether, brought together influential advocates of mental health and role models, including a few on the Future List, to help provide mental and emotional support to those who needed it during the COVID lockdown. Apart from this passion project, Lynn also organises popular annual events, including Mad Face Food Week, which has been described as Bangkok’s “most down-to-earth food festival”.
