ctress, art manager and art advocate Peangdao, or Yoi, earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in dramatic arts from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, For Peangdao, theatre has always been her passion and a central part of her life, but now she wears multiple hats as an actress, stage manager and also producer. With a strong belief that the arts are a vehicle for society and personal change, Peangdao co-founded the Thai Theatre Foundation to strengthen the contemporary art community, helping it to operate effectively and equitably under the principles of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. She is also a key member of BIPAM (Bangkok International Performing Arts Meeting) team–Southeast Asia''s performing arts gathering and exchange platform and gateway into the various contexts of Southeast Asia’s diverse and thriving performing arts scene. During the Covid pandemic, she petitioned the government to find short and long-term solutions to support creative professionals in the theatre industry who lost their income as a result of the lockdown. Despite her heavy workload for art management and regular appearances on various TV series, she always finds her way back to the stage, her first love.
