Rush Pleansuk is an architect who has found a distinctive niche in combining art and design in a perfect equilibrium to create beauty and address cultural issues. Seeking to broaden his perspectives on aesthetics, he pursued further studies at l''École Nationale Supérieure d''Architecture et de Paysage de Bordeaux. His philosophy centres around the belief that excellent products necessitate not only design, materials, techniques, process, textures, and forms but also a meaningful connection with the user. At Sumphat Gallery, Rush''s creations represent a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and industrial production, drawing inspiration from culture and heritage to define the purpose of each item. Each of his design products encapsulates historical and cultural elements alongside functionality. Rush injects new vitality into traditional crafts, introducing a fresh aesthetic that resonates with modern lifestyles. Collaborating with local communities and artisans, he feels a sense of responsibility to preserve their traditional crafts and provide sustainable livelihoods. His collaborative efforts with various international brands have garnered recognition, and in 2019, he was honoured with the title of Designer of the Year (Product Design) by the Department of International Trade Promotion.
