Better known as Khru Soryor, he is a firm believer in holistic education. With 15 years of experience as a government school teacher, he understands the challenges of the profession, which is impeded by politics and policies, as well as localised social issues of each community. Khru Soryor launched Thai Ban University as a learning space for local youth, aiming to connect learning with nature, the environment, and the community. His goal is to provide students with necessary survival skills and help them recognise their potential, leading to self-change. As the director, he initiates projects and collaborates with others in the process. Khru Soryor also serves as the president of the Association of Taisikkha which promotes holistic education for freedom within and outside the system, addressing issues related to rights, the environment, life skills, and learning for inner growth. Khru Soryor is proud of having been a speaker for the Komol Keemthong Foundation in 2021, which aims to uphold education ideologies. He is now looking to expand his learning space to embrace spiritual learning. He also uses art as a daily tool to energise, inspire, and increase mindfulness.
