Curator, Ground Control Agency
Industry : The Arts
Pahparn grew up in the public eye as one of the hosts of the hit teen show Strawberry Cheesecake. She studied film and started work writing scripts and directing, though she found it unfulfilling. Only when she was given a film camera did she discover her passion for photography, and her work, posted on Instagram during its early days, singled her out as a talent to be reckoned with. For Pahparn, photography is a reflection of her own self. She works a lot in black and white, and her travels often provide the basis of her imagery that has been described as “dark and lonely”. A job as gallery director at Jam Factory allowed her to come into contact with the art crowd, and Art Ground 3 festival in 2017 was where she launched her career as a curator. She found satisfaction in providing a platform to allow connectivity between artists and clients, as well as with other artists that are mutually rewarding. She hopes to expand this within the region. She is on the board of the Royal Photographic Society Thailand.
