Co-founder/CEO, YoungHappy

Industry : Advocacy

Thanakorn is the co-founder and CEO of YoungHappy, a community that helps seniors have fun, feel more valued and gain more independence. This is achieved through workshops to enhance knowledge and encourage a social lifestyle, a time bank that gives elderly volunteers opportunities to increase self-worth, and a mobile app as a channel for seniors to connect and engage. The YoungHappy online community, which started in 2017, now has 60,000 members. It was one of the global winners of the Chivas Venture 2020 competition that gives funding to start-ups who combine profit with purpose for a positive impact on the world, and was recently selected to represent Thailand at the 2020 Facebook Community Accelerator Asia-Pacific. In the next 12 months the qualified aerospace engineer hopes to expand the YoungHappy community to all four regions of Thailand. Motivated by his family, his credo is that the security of our loved ones provides peace of mind.
