Dr Theerawit, a scientist specialising in medical AI and a passionate advocate for deeptech startups, founded Interfaces (AI in Health Research Team at Vistec) and SensAI (AI-Driven Anomaly Sensing for Better Health). His dedication to advancing health AI, particularly during the early stages when funding was limited, showcases his commitment to pioneering research in this vital field. Dr Theerawit''s leadership in establishing a research team has contributed to advancing health AI research internationally. His efforts have played a crucial role in building remote health monitoring systems, benefitting over 30,000 people during the Covid-19 pandemic. This earned him a 2022 IEEE R10 Humanitarian Technology Activities Outstanding Volunteer Award nomination. Dr Theerawit serves as a supervisor for postgraduate students at Vistec, guiding research and development efforts. He is actively involved in establishing a university spinoff company that will create awareness of Thailand''s potential as a hub for research and development, contributing to the sustainable growth of the Thai economy and industry.
