Thosaphol develops marketing and action strategies and networks for Cirplas Tech which collects plastic waste from fishermen, single use plastics from companies, coffee shops and restaurants in Bangkok to convert into reusable plastic pellets. As a result, less plastic waste goes to landfill and companies have better options of using PCR (Post Consumer Recycled) materials. He launched Cirplas Tech with his own funds after realising that his previous brand, Qualy Design–gift products from plastic waste sold worldwide–would be better supplied if he could develop his own recycled raw materials. Waste collection was affected by the pandemic and required a shift in routine, and now he hopes to collect more than 100 tonnes of plastic waste a month to prove that 99% of plastic waste can be managed. He is proud of helping to advocate and inspire on the issue of plastic waste in Thailand. His favourite people are his father–for his honesty, diligence and open-mindedness, Sir Alex Ferguson–for knowing his work inside out yet always finding room for improvement–and his wife and baby daughter.
